Children 3 and under are free, but they will not receive a T-shirt.

Yes. All children 4 years and older must be registered and will receive a shirt. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian during the event.

The race will not be chipped, but volunteers will be at the finish line with timers to record finish times.

All participants will receive a participation medal.

(No age group awards this year.) 

1K starts at 9:00 AM

5K starts approximately at 9:30 AM

The earliest arrival time is 8:30 AM.

Please park at the DPCC lot located at 1811 Lawrence Ave, Lockport, IL 60441 and proceed to Hawkeye Pavillion by the tennis courts

No. There will be no race-day packet pickup.

Yes. A waiver must be signed for each participant at packet pickup.

For minors, a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver.

No. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The event is rain or shine.

Yes, pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times.

Yes. Portable restrooms (porta-potties) will be available along the course.

Yes, water will be available for participants.

All proceeds from this event go directly to the Taft Grade School PTA to support student programs, activities, and school initiatives.
